This coming Tuesday, we will be on the Tonite Show with Jay Leno, promoting the upcoming tour and also the release of a live acoustic EP entitled "Underneath Acoustic" This record will be available on Hanson.net and also at live performances in August, the release date is August 9th
Taylor: Hey everybody in Hanson.net, hope you guys had a chance to grab tickets. For everyone who tried to get advanced tickets, and they were sold out, don't worry more will be available. For all you MOE members, tickets go on sale today for you on the website. The on sale to the public is this coming Wednesday, July 16th, so for everybody who's not a fan club member, you'll be able to get those on this coming Wednesday. Hey everybody, this is Isaac and you've reached the Hanson Hotline. I just want to let everybody know that the first leg of the Acoustic '03 tour has now been announced, The dates currently start on August 9th, and go through August 28th and cover the following cities, Baltimore, Philadelphia, Boston, New York, Albany, Toronto, Detroit, Chicago, Minneapolis, Denver, Las Vegas, San Francisco, and Los Angeles. If we did not cover a city near you, or your home town, don't worry, this is only the first leg of the tour, we will be hitting more cities across the United States and Canada very soon and look forward to coming to a city near you. For all of you this does cover, we hope to see you guys on the road very soon. The general onsale for tickets will be available late this coming week. And for all you fanclub members, Hanson.net and MOE, you guys will have pre-sale options available to you in the earlier part of this coming week. So we look forward to seeing you guys on the road. For all of you MOE members, you should be getting a post card in the mail about what to do with regards to the pre-sale options. Hey everybody this is Isaac and you've reached the Hanson Hotline. Well the 1st leg on the Acoustic 03 tour is about to be announced. We will be announcing those tour dates within the next few days. These tour dates will be consisting of mainly north east dates but the rest of the tour will be announced very soon. This is only the 1st leg of the tour. So we look forward to seeing you guys out on the road and we hope you guys will join us for the Acoustic 03 tour. This acoustic tour will be mainly in intimate club settings the reason of course being that we're playing Acoustic music. Whats the fun of playing in giant places when you can play a really intimate and cool. So we look forward to uh seeing you guys on the road and we hope you guys will join us on the acoustic 03 tour. Hey everybody this is Isaac and you've reached the hanson hotline. Well first off just wanted to pass on to everybody that we really appreciate all of you who came out to the LIFEbeat show. It was great to the opportunity to see all of you and to play some new and old music for you. For all of you who brought those preferred tickets for the meet n greet stuff, we hope that we got the opportunity to spend enough time with you and to sign some stuff for you. But we hope that we get the opportunity to do that again on this tour that we're going to be doing. Because we are going to be playing from late July thru August, all throughout the United States, on an intimate club tour. And the reason for those club dates is because this is going to be a mainly acoustic tour and we feel that the close and intimate setting will be the most conducive for this acoustic show. So we hope that you all will join us. It will be again starting late July through August. There will be information about that up very very soon on Hanson.net. Hey everybody this is Isaac and you've reached the Hanson Hotline. Just wanted to let everybody know real fast, this coming Thursday June the 19th we are on the bill for the LIFEBeat benefit concert. We are on the bill with people like Phantom Planet and Bleu and also Matthew Sweet and the rest of The Thorns will be there as special guests. So there's a lot of cool stuff going on on Thursday. That'll be really really fun. But more importantly we've got a 20+ city acoustic tour that we are planning right now. The final dates are being booked as we speak and we will be announcing that very very soon so that we will coming to your town and playing the shows. So look for that and if you want information about either one of those things go to Hanson.net. Hey everybody, this is Isaac and you've reached the Hanson Hotline. Well I thought I'd do something that I did last and I will continue to do, inform you guys of new music that I think really should check out. One of the bands that I really think you would enjoy is Maroon 5. Their record is "Songs About Jane". They're a funk based rock band with really great songs and excellent musical hooks. I mean, it's...they're a great great band and very worth your time. You may have heard their song on the radio, it's called "Harder to Breath". It is moving up the charts as we speak and they are a really great band. You will enjoy their record thoroughly. Again, the record's called "Songs about Jane". Also, there's a really cool young artist named Ben Kweller. He had a record called "Sha Sha". That record's really really cool and very...just, it's kinda grungy and rocky and great..its just great fun. And also Bleu, spelled B-L-E-U. His record's called RedHead. You guys should check out all those guys' records because you will enjoy them thorougly, they are great records. Thanks for calling the Hanson Hotline. Hey everybody this is Isaac and you've reached the Hanson Hotline. Well I thought I'd take an opportunity to do something I haven't done before on this lovely Memorial Day weekend 2003. And that is inform you guys of some artist that you may not have heard of before. There's a band which I've been talking about for a long time called Maroon 5. Their record is called "Song About Jane". This band is a great funk based rock band with excellent song writing sense and melody sense. Really great vocals and hooks for days. So I think you should check this record out. It is so worth your money. You will listen from top to bottom over and over and over again. Also, on the same note, a record that you will listen to over and over and over, have a new favorite everytime you listen through, A guy named Bleu, spelled B-L-E-U. His record's called "Redhead". This record has electronica influences and singer/songwriter sensabilities and occasionally, a moment of Neil Diamond. It is a great eclectic record and excellent songwriting. I think you guys should check these out. If you'd like more information on these artists, you'll be able to get onto Hanson.net if you're a fan club member and check out the review section.
